Sit-at-home Order: IPOB's Order Ignored In Enugu

The sit-at-home order given by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was on Thursday (today) ignored by residents of Enugu State, Nigeria.

This is because the people of the state went about their normal activities and disregarded the said order.

It would be recalled that IPOB had on May 28, 2019 through a statement directed the residents to observe a sit-at-home order in memory of those who lost their lives in the Nigeria-Biafra war from 1967 to 1970.

Our correspondent who went round the area reports that there was no sign of compliance as the roads were busy with vehicular traffic and many people were going about their activities.
