NIGERIA'S PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI

No fewer than two people were on Wesnesday (today) killed in a bloody clash between the Toru-Orua and Ofoni communities in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Nigeria.

To confirm the development, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Asinim Butswat, explained that the war began, consequent upon issues bordering on stealing of a commercial motorcycle.

The police further confirmed that one of the victims killed the owner of the motorcycle in his attempt to steal the vehicle from him.

Our correspondent equally learnt that apparently angry kinsmen of the slain motorcyclists, mobilised and traced the alleged killer in the neighbouring community and mobbed him to death.

This action, according to our investigation(s) led to a bloody conflict between youths from the two communities.
