Nigerian Image Badly Portrayed In The Media – MINISTERIAL NOMINEE

***Says Investors Scared Of Investing In Nigeria’s IT Sector

A declaration was on Friday (yesterday) made by the Director General, DG, National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, and one of President Muhammadu Buhari's ministerial nominees, Dr. Isa Pantami, that without any doubt, investors are scared of investing in the country’s IT sector.

Pantami further stated that the Nigerian image has been portrayed badly in the media.

Speaking while responding to questions from Senators during his screening at the National Assembly yesterday in Abuja, Pantami said the Information Technology(IT) sector if properly promoted and positioned could attract investors who would create hubs, employ Nigerians and reduce the rate of unemployment.

According to him, “Our image is worse than the reality.”
