(NEWSFLASH) Xenophobia: Nigeria’s President Buhari Meets IGP, NSA, NIA DG

ABUJA, NIGERIA – The President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) on Tuesday (today) met behind closed doors with heads of security agents in the country.

The meeting which took place at the president's office in Abuja had in attendance the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu; National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno; and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai-Abubakar.

The News Accelerator Network learnt that the meeting may not be unconnected with security situation in the country and the xenophobic attacks against Nigerians in South Africa.

It would be recalled that the NIA DG, who led the President’s special envoy to South Africa over the xenophobic attacks, had submitted his report.
