Nigerian Passenger Slumps, Dies At Murtala Muhammed International Airport

IKEJA, LAGOS STATE, NIGERIA - An unnamed passenger on Saturday (yesterday) slumped and died in the process of undergoing boarding procedures at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria.

This development was confirmed on Sunday (today) by DSP Joseph Alabi, the spokesperson for the MMIA Police Command, Lagos.

DSP Joseph Alabi explained that the passenger, who is 44 years old was about boarding an Air France flight when he suddenly slumped after receiving the news that his wife had died.

DSP Joseph Alabi revealed that the sad incident happened around 5:30 p.m. and the deceased was confirmed dead by Dr. Ajayi Olamide of the MMIA Medical Clinic.

DSP Joseph Alabi further confirmed that the corpse had been deposited at the Air Force Hospital Mortuary.
