Why Kwara Government Disrupted Water Supply In Parts Of Ilorin - PERMANENT SECRETARY

ILORIN, KWARA STATE, NIGERIA - Dr. Afolabi Adesola Ezekiel, the Permanent Secretary,


Ministry of Water Resources in Kwara State, Nigeria, on Friday (yesterday) explained that water supply to some parts of the state capital Ilorin, was temporarily disrupted owing to the ongoing repair works at the Geri Alimi Underpass which had affected a major pipe.

Dr. Afolabi Adesola Ezekiel in a statement personally issued by him stated that: “This is to inform the general public that the ongoing works at Geri Alimi Underpass involve a major water pipe. 

"As a result of this, water supply to areas like Baboko, Oja Oba, Surulere, Adela, Pakata, Edun, Alore and Okelele has been temporarily suspended.

“Water supply will be restored immediately the repair is completed. We regret any inconvenience to the people of these areas.”
