Chaplain Sacked By Former Governor Ambode Over Encounter With Wife Honored


IKEJA, LAGOS STATE, NIGERIA - A former presiding Chaplain of the Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria, Venerable Femi Taiwo, was on Wednesday (yesterday) honored by the Lagos State government, led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. 

It would be recalled that Venerable Femi Taiwo was fired by the immediate past governor of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode after an encounter with his wife. 

The Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture, Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf, who was joined by top officials of the ministry, presented a gift to the clergy on behalf of the government, In the congregation, which consisted of church members, family, friends and well wishers of the cleric.
