CHINI Africa Wins Cannes Lions Silver At Representatives Award

CHINI Africa emerged silver winner at the recently held 2019 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity’s Andrea Suez Representative of the Year Award in London. 

The award was given in recognition of CHINI Africa’s innovative ideas to engage the Nigerian market. 

The representative of the year award is judged against 4 main criteria including: Brand Ambassadors, Creative Marketing Activity, Engagement with Young Lions and Business Results. 

The award is open to Cannes Lions representatives in 92 countries who promote the values of the Festival in their various markets. 

The 2019 Gold was won by Australia, while the Bronze award went to Ireland. 

Speaking on the award, the CEO of CHINI Africa, Nnamdi Ndu said: “Promoting creativity for us is not work as usual. It is our passion to push Nigerian and indeed African creativity to the world stage. 

"A commendation from a no less than Cannes Lions is a sign that we’re on the right path and we are inspired to do even more.

“We thank all our partners, the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Union Bank of Nigeria, Leo Burnett Lagos, City FM and all others who have contributed in various ways to make the 2019 event a success.”
