BENIN, EDO STATE, NIGERIA - Justice Esther Edigin, was on Friday (today) sworn-in as the Chief Judge (CJ) of Edo State, Nigeria. 

Justice Esther Edigin was sworn-in by the state governor, Godwin Obaseki at the Government House, Benin City. 

Governor Godwin Obseki's decision to swear-in Justice Esther Edigin, as the 7th substantive CJ of the state, came sequel to the retirement of the immediate past Chief Judge, Justice Esohe Ikponmwen, from the state public service.
