Rape Allegation: Busola Dakolo's Claims Against COZA Pastor Sentimental, Empty - COURT

  • Awards N1m Against Her

ABUJA, NIGERIA - An Abuja High Court sitting in Bwari on Thursday (today)  declared that the rape allegation made against the Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, is sentimental and empty.

The court, presided over by Justice Othman Musa stated this while delivering ruling on the rape case initiated by Busola Dakolo against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Justice Othman Musa equally awarded a cost to the tune of N1m against Busola Dakolo.

Justice Othman Musa further held that the case carries more of cruelty in it than justice and therefore same is frivolous and statute barred.

It would be recalled that Busola Dakolo had approached the court asking for justice after pointing accusing fingers at Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of raping her while she was a teenager in the year 2002 causing her continuous emotional distress and amount to intentional infliction of emotional distress.

However, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo filed an objection to the suit claiming that Busola’s statements were false and scandalous.
