Tragedy: Farmer Killed By Tiger In Sumatra Island

SUMATRA ISLAND - An  Indonesian farmer was on Sunday (yesterday) killed. 

The farmer was killed by an endangered Sumatran Tiger at the farmer’s coffee plantations on Sumatra Island where the 57-year-old was said to have wrestled with the big cat before it killed him. 

According to Genman Hasibuan, head of the South Sumatra conservation agency, a domestic tourist was equally injured in the course of the incident. 

Genman Hasibuan said on Monday (today) that: “The farmer was attacked while he was cutting a tree at his plantation.”
