Contempt: NCAC Boss, Runsewe, Sent To Prison

CHIEF OLUSEGUN RUNSEWE 

ABUJA, NIGERIA - The Director-General (DG) of the National Council of Art and Crafts, Chief Olusegun Runsewe, was today sent to prison for contempt of court.

Chief Olusegun Runsewe was sent to prison by Justice Jude Okeke of an FCT High Court. 

Justice Jude Okeke arrived at the decision while ruling on a motion seeking to commit Chief Olusegun Runsewe to prison, by Ummakalif Ltd against the Minister, Federal Capital Territory, Federal Capital Development Authority, the Director-General, National Council for Arts and Culture, and the Minister for Culture and Tourism, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th defendants respectively.

Chief Olusegun Runsewe was sent to prison for contempt of the order of court made on December 15, 2017.
