(PHOTOSPEAK) How George Floyd Was Reburied In Imo State, Nigeria

It is no longer news that a black American, George Floyd (46) was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, whilst being arrested for allegedly using a counterfeit bill.

But what is now news is that late George Floyd has been reburied in Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria.

The reburial came consequent upon the purported recovery by a pastor, Humble Okoro, who allegedly link late George Floyd to Mbaise.

The clergy said: “I have traced the ancestral root of George Obinna Floyd to Umuoffor kindred in Obokwu obibi Aboh Mbaise Imo State and I feel so happy now that we have reburied him alongside with his ancestors.

It would be recalled that on May 25, 2020, Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, knelt on Floyd’s neck for almost eight minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down, begging for his life and repeatedly saying “I can’t breathe.”

Late George Floyd was further restrained by officers J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane, while officer Tou Thao prevented bystanders from intervening.

During the final two minutes, Floyd was motionless and had no pulse while Chauvin ignored onlookers’ pleas to remove his knee, which he did not do until medics told him to.

George Perry Floyd was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and raised in the Third Ward of Houston, Texas. In 2014, he moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota.
