(JUST IN) Curfew Cancelled In Oyo State

The cancellation of the 10pm curfew imposed on Oyo State, Nigeria, to stop further spread of COVID-19 pandemic, was on Thursday (today) announced by the state governor, Seyi Makinde.

In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Taiwo Adisa, “the curfew was abolished after a series of review of the situation”.

While advising residents of the state to continue to comply with COVID-19 protocols, Governor Seyi Makinde said, “the cancellation of the curfew did not mean coronavirus had disappeared completely.”
